On one side, the sun is shining brightly. On the other side, the heat of war on the border! The army is already making strong preparations. On the eve of Operation Sindoor, several villages on the border have seen the picture of the war preparations of the Indian army. The army had also started preparing in a village near the border in Ferozepur district of Punjab. At that time, when the army was preparing to protect the people of the country and give a befitting reply to the enemy despite the sun and heat, a 10-year-old boy ignored all fears and delivered milk, lassi, water, and ice cream to the army. This boy was given special honor by the Indian army this time.
Shravan Singh, son of farmer Sona Singh, from a village near the border of Ferozepur, Punjab. This patriotic boy wants to join the Indian army when he grows up. That is perhaps why, even though a war situation arose in the atmosphere of Indo-Pak conflict, nothing could stop him. Just as the Indian army thwarted all the evil intentions of Pakistan, Shravan reached the country’s protectors ignoring all fears.

In Shravan’s words, “I was not afraid. I want to be a soldier when I grow up. I used to take water, lassi, ice cream for our army. They also loved me very much.” The army honored this farmer’s son for Shravan’s love for the soldiers of the country and his indomitable courage. Major General Rajiv Singh Manral, General Commanding Officer of the 7th Division, honored Shravan at a ceremony. A memento, ice cream and several food items were handed over to Shravan.
