Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has threatened that Pakistan would have been divided into four if the Navy had been active. He said on board the INS Vikrant, which was built entirely using indigenous technology, that Pakistan was divided into two by the Indian Navy in 1971. This time too, if the Indian Navy had been involved, Pakistan would have been divided into two.
Rajnath visited the INS Vikrant in Goa on Friday. He inspected the warship’s preparations. He also highly praised the Indian Navy’s ability to stop the enemy. Standing on the warship, Rajnath said, “1971 is a witness, when the Indian Navy started working, Pakistan was divided into two. If the Indian Navy had also been involved in Operation Sindoor, then Pakistan would not have been divided into two, but now it would have been divided into four.”
Rajnath also praised the silent role of the Indian Navy in Operation Sindoor. According to him, the Navy, although it was somewhat silent during Operation Sindoor, had stopped the Pakistani army. When the Indian Air Force destroyed Pakistan’s terrorist base, the Navy was on alert at sea. Fearing that, the Pakistani fleet was stuck in its own port. Pakistan could not even go out to sea due to fear of India.” The Defense Minister said that Pakistan was lucky that the Navy did not show bravery during Operation Sindoor.
It is worth noting that India’s ‘Vikrant’ was ready to destroy the Karachi port. A total of 36 warships, including INS Vikrant, landed in the Arabian Sea in the dark of the night on May 8. The goal was clear. To give a strong response to an attack by water. Not only that, India also had a plan to directly attack the Karachi port to respond to an attack by Pakistan. It was just waiting for government orders. In the end, of course, that did not happen. However, Rajnath has asked the Navy to be ready for the coming days.
