Firing exercise in the Arabian Sea
Earlier, the Indian Navy conducted a firing exercise from May 3 to 7. The exercise was conducted in the Arabian Sea, about 390 km off the Karwar coast of Karnataka. The firing exercise from the Karwar naval base, which is a strategic hub of the Navy, shows that India is adopting a cautious and aggressive policy on the maritime border as well.
Tensions between India and Pakistan
Tensions have increased between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgaon attack. In such a situation, India is now working on strategic preparations for any kind of response. This firing exercise is not just a test, but a way to convey to Pakistan and its supported terrorist organisations that all three Indian armies are ready. Besides, it is a special step to strengthen the strength of the Indian Navy and maritime security.
