India did not make any request for this ceasefire, Pakistan itself directly asked America for this agreement

India has clearly stated that before and after the ceasefire, India did not make any request for this ceasefire. That is, Pakistan itself directly asked America for this agreement.
The thing is that India was teaching them a lesson, (such as the strikes on various Pakistani air bases), Pakistan then went to America crying and said that they are teaching me a lot, stop them. The ceasefire is for 2 days

Indus Waters Treaty not part of ceasefire talks with Pakistan, say sources

The Indus Waters Treaty, which was suspended by India in retaliation to the Pahalgam attack, was not part of the ceasefire talks with Pakistan, sources told India Today. The treaty will continue to be held in abeyance. Also, the truce does not change India’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against any form of terrorism, they added.

Water, trade, diplomatic and financial sanctions against Pakistan will continue to be in place as before, sources said.
