In a significant development, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed that its fighters have taken control of the city of Surab in Pakistan. According to reports, they captured the city in Pakistan’s Balochistan province after violent clashes with security forces. Visuals and videos show that the Baloch fighters seized the Pak army vehicles and weapons, apart from taking control of the police stations, banks, and other government buildings.
The Baloch fighters not only captured the entire city but also vandalised and set fire to government buildings and vehicles in Surab. Reports claim that Senior police officer Hidayat Ullah was locked in a room by the fighters, where he died of suffocation. Claiming responsibility for the attack and takeover, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in an official statement on Friday said, “Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters have taken complete control of Surab city.
