Ladakh’s Siachen Glacier, renowned for its harsh conditions and extreme temperatures, witnessed a heart-wrenching incident as an Army Captain lost his life, while three others, including a Lieutenant Colonel, sustained injuries due to a devastating fire that engulfed their tent. The cause of the fire was reported to be a short circuit, leaving the entire military fraternity in mourning.

Authorities immediately sprung into action, organizing rescue operations to evacuate the injured soldiers from the hostile terrain Thankfully, due to the prompt response and efficient coordination the injured personnel were safely transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
