India develops hypersonic cruise missile, this missile will be tested soon
After ‘Operation Sindoor’, India is rapidly increasing its military power. India’s Brahmos missile has demonstrated its power against Pakistan, now India has developed a more dangerous hypersonic cruise missile. The name of this missile is ET-LDHCM (Extended Trajectory-Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile). India is going to test this missile soon (ET LDHCM Missile Test).
Its speed is 5 times faster than sound
The ET-LDHCM missile developed under the Vishnu project has been developed by DRDO. The specialty of this missile is that it is 5 times faster than the speed of sound. This means that the speed of this missile is Mach 8. In simple words, it is 11,000 km per hour. The range of this missile is 1500 km. Not only Pakistan, but also its master, i.e. China, is within its range.

What are the great features of the ET-LDHCM missile?
The ET-LDHCM missile travels up to 3 kilometers in just 1 second.
Its speed is so high that the enemy’s normal radar cannot track it.
This missile can be launched from all three platforms, air, land and sea.
It can withstand high temperatures. It is made of materials that can withstand temperatures up to 2000 degrees Celsius.
This missile can carry a payload of 1000 to 2000 kg.
The missile is equipped with a scramjet engine, which burns fuel by taking oxygen from the air, due to which its hypersonic speed is maintained for a long time.
Why is this missile important for India?
Powerful countries like Russia, America and China have hypersonic power, if India’s test of this missile is successful, we will also be included in the list of these countries.
Due to the ongoing border disputes with Pakistan and China, India needs to increase its military strength, this missile test will prove to be a decisive step in this direction. The world saw India’s defense system in Operation Sindoor. Now India’s offensive power is also going to increase.
